Watch Better Off Ted Season 1 Episode 3 – Through Rose Colored HAZMAT Suits

Because her nanny is sick, Ted takes his daughter Rose to work. At first, he wants to leave Rose at the company day care, but the woman there wants to have the kids paint the white lines in the parking structure, so he decides to take her with him to the meeting he has to attend (that is not very kid-friendly). At the meeting, because Rose is present everyone talks about the new bomb they’re developing as a “bunny” that has to be dropped from an airplane and which will “cuddle” and “snuggle” everyone. Rose notices that Lem always tells Phil what to do and asks if he’s his boss now. Lem denies this, but it makes Phil realize that Lem is indeed a little bossy. Rose is having a great time with Linda, and gives Ted a drawing that she made of herself, Ted and Linda holding hands. This causes an awkward moment between the two adults. Veronica offers to watch Rose while Ted checks on Phil and Lem. She soon realizes that Rose is very effective at getting people to control their emotions. Phil and Lem, behaving like an old married couple, take turns in being “boss”. During a false contamination alarm, Ted and Linda kiss through their Hazmat suits plastic helmets, but Ted decides (once again) not to get involved with Linda, this time using his daughter Rose as an excuse.

Ted: The fact that you thought I was going to go wash Rose right now makes me think you may not know that much about children.
Veronica: I know they need to be cleaned.

Veronica: You have the most beautiful skin. I wish there was a way I could peel it off your face and attach it to mine. Oh, and then you’d grow new skin and like it just as much.
